The Wonderful 101 Direct

Platinum Games may be known for titles like Bayonetta, Vanquish and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, but despite the stylistic differences they remain firmly in their natural element with The Wonderful 101's hectic isometric beat 'em up action.

Today a Nintendo Direct dedicated to The Wonderful 101  took place. You may watch it whole right here and it's definitely worthwhile as most of the more than 20 minutes it lasts successfully showcase the gameplay and features of this quirky yet charming game.

For the occasion, a 7 minute extended trailer was also published.

As an added bonus, you may direct yourself to the eShop and download the first free demo of the game on your Wii U console. The Wonderful 101 will be released on the 23rd of August, exclusively for the Wii U as Nintendo is publishing.
